I had exactly the same problem. All you need to do is:
1. Search up 'Switch' on Google.
2. Click on 'Switch Audio File Converter - NCH Software'.
3. On the right hand side, click 'Get It Now'.
4. A window should pop up, click 'Save File'.
5. Choose where you want to save it, then click save.
6. Follow the instructions and click accept and agree etc.
7. Un-tick all boxes then press 'Finish' - A window will now open.
8. Now to actually convert them, press 'Add File(s)' in the top left hand side of the window that opened.
9. Double click on the file you want to convert.
10. Down the bottom left hand corner, it should say, 'Output Format'. Choose '.mp3'.
11. Last step, in the top menu bar, choose 'Convert'. It will load then you will have a MP3 file that you can put on most portable devices!
