What do you do if your friend is being racist towards you?

You can learn to ignore it if it is a few isolated incidents. If it continues, you can tell the ones doing it you don't appreciate it. You can also tell a teacher if you are in school.

In countries where any form of racism is illegal, you can tell the police. However, in most places, racism itself is not illegal, just ethnic violence, and racial discrimination in the areas of education, housing, public accommodations, transportation, or employment. So in other words, a student acting racist towards another student might not technically be illegal, depending on the jurisdiction, but it would be illegal for a school to allow and condone that behavior.
