How do you uninstall app from iPod touch?

It was a software update, and you can't just simply delete software. The software is what is running the iPod Touch, so you can't just delete the software. What you can do is just download the earlier version from iTunes and reinstall that version.

Yes you can return the iPod to factory settings... Which is the state it was in when you first bought it.

To do this..connect your iPod to the computer, and click on the thing that you click on to update your iPod , but don't update it because

There is a button underneath the update button, and that will return it to it's factory settings! Then you just have to wait a while for your games to be put back onto your iPod!

If you press and hold the app you want to uninstall, that app together with all other apps will start to 'wobble' on screen. Within the square of the app to the top corner you will see a x. Tap the x and the app will come up asking you to delete that app, confirm that you do and that will remove the app

Tap and hold any app on the screen until they all start wobbling and shaking. In the top left corner of all apps (except for the preinstalled default apps), there will be an X. Tap the X, then a window will pop up to confirm the deletion. After you confirm, the app will vanish, and all data from the app will be erased.
