43 x 32 = 1376 sq ft or /100 = 13.76 square. each bundle is 1/3 of a square so 13.76 x 3 = 41.28 bundles Buy an extra bundle or two for mistakes and ridge rows. I hope I got that right and I hope someone checks that for me. Call your local Home Improvement store and they can tell you for sure.

Height times width gives you square footage. One square of shingles covers 100 square feet. Depending on the type of shingle, there are either 3 or 4 bundles in a square. If your entire roof is 30x65 you have 1950 square feet, it that is one side, double that to 3900 sq. ft. Allow extra for the starter course and the cap. You would have 20 or 40 squares depending on the total roof area. Standard duty shingles have 3 bundles to the square so 60 or 120 bundles. Architectural or heavy duty shingles have 4 bundles per sq. so 80 or 160 bundles.

Is 30x80 one side or the length and width of the building? Standard shingles have 3 bundles to a square. A square is 100 square feet. 80x30 would be 2,400 square feet or 24 squares or 72 bundles. You will need extra for the starter row and the cap.

A bundle of shingles , known as a 'square ' , is 100 square feet. Calculate roof measurement and divide by 100. -As many roofs are not simply rectangular, calculate the total measurement, of each section, then divide by 100
