A clownfish has alot of color and a catfish doesn't. A catfish has a stinger that comes out of its back and a clownfish doesn't.
Catfish (order Siluriformes) are a very diverse group of bony fish. Named for their prominent barbels, which give the image of cat-like whiskers, catfish range in size and behavior from the heaviest, the Mekong giant catfish in Southeast Asia and the longest, the wels catfish of Eurasia, to detritivores (species that eat dead material on the bottom), and even to a tiny parasitic species commonly called the candiru, Vandellia cirrhosa. There are armour-plated types and also naked types, neither having scales. Despite their common name, not all catfish have prominent barbels; what defines a fish as being in the order Siluriformes are in fact certain features of the skull and swimbladder. Catfish are of considerable commercial importance; many of the larger species are farmed or fished for food, and some are exploited for sport fishing, including a kind known as noodling. Many of the smaller species, particularly the genus Corydoras, are important in the aquarium hobby.
The name dogfish is applied to a number of small sharks found in the northeast Atlantic, Pacific, and Mediterranean, especially to those in the three families Scyliorhinidae, Dalatiidae and Squalidae. Although often used in reference to Scyliorhinus canicula, the name is applied only loosely and does not usually signify a close taxonomic relationship.
(Squalus acanthias) -- This small, slender shark has a flattened head and a snout that tapers to a blunt tip. It averages 2 1/2 to 3 feet in length with the largest growing to 4 feet or more. Records show that they can live from 25 to 30 years.
Its mouth is full of low, flat, grinding teeth like the smooth dogfish, but the spiny dogfish also possesses an extra set of small, very sharp teeth.
The spiny dogfish, Squalus acanthias, is the most common shark in the western Atlantic. It hunts both alone and in groups with other dogfish. It eats small fish, squid, and crustaceans, and has extremely strong jaws for crushing shells.
Dogfish are considered a nuisance by fishermen because they will latch on to almost anything put in the water, including human hands. Fishermen kill them when caught which, along with pollution, has contributed to a sharp decline in population in Puget Sound. It is now illegal to kill or mutilate them when caught even though at a time, they were considered a delicacy by Europeans.
Care must be taken when handling dogfish due to the two venomous spines at the back of both dorsal fins. The venom is not likely to cause major damage, but the wound can take months to heal.
Well a starfish is an invertebrate that clings on to rocks like an oyster while a dog fish is a vertebrate that can move quickly and actually swim.
catfish is just a general name for all catfish, and there are many species of catfish including the channel catfish, the blue catfish, and the bullhead.
The channel cat is a species of catfish, correctly called channel catfish.
There isn't a difference. Bullhead Catfish are just like regular catfish. I don't know why scientists separated them, because anatomically they are the same
that they have whiskers and they have to be skinned differently then others another is there whiskers r FEELERS others dont have feelers
A mudcat is a type of catfish
There's also the Opelousas, and the Yellow Cat, which are darn good fried or added to gumbo. Personally, I prefer the channel cat because they swim a lot against currents. The flavor is amazing.
hey wats up dog
what is the difference between a rabbit and dog in height
The difference is simply the spelling of the word. The correct spelling for a canine is "Dog".
Akabash isn't a type of dog!!
the only difference is the size
A dog does not know the difference between a gerbil and a rat.
A Yankee Dog is available in October!

Gary Paulsen said that the difference between man and dog is that a man is a creature of intellect and emotion while a dog is a creature of simple needs and wants.
Most likely the saw fish but it really depends :D
Perhaps Beluga Caviar and Alpo: orIt is like the difference between a Bellagio Suite and Motel 6.It is like the difference between 5 star Cuisine and a Big Mac.It is like the difference between a Maserati Ghibli and a Ford Pinto. It is like the difference between the Marine Corp band and a piccolo. It is like the difference between the Speed of Light and the Speed of Sound. It is like the difference between a 100 year old Cognac VSSOP and Mad Dog 20-20.It does not or at least should not diminish the relative importance of any award for Valor except that they, like the Richter Scale measure things on a different set of scales. There is a perceived difference between the two or even between the various service crosses that transcend reality.
