If the recipe contains a fair amount of shortening or oil, work the dough quickly on a cold surface and avoid using the recipe in very hot, humid weather.

i would add more flour, only a little at a time

but sometime i add some sugar beacause to much flour can change the the taste slightly but flour is the main thing
