Yes, you can always fix it yourself. You can get the part at one of the bigger part tablet part suppliers on line. Search for a disassembly guide on Google or ask. There might be a guide for your exact model. otherwise just pull up a comparable guide for an android tablet to get an idea on how to fix it. Ask around, some of your friend might have fixed stuff like this before.
