Marriage is a special intimidating time and should not be taken lightly.. you should try to slow down a little and talk to him about him slowly. Many men aren't sure if there ready to have to support a family and fully care for someone and some women feel the same. you may have just rushed to fast into bringing up the topic and it may have spooked him... i suggest you just try and talk to him about other topics and slowly feed him bits and pieces at a time. i hope i helped. -Paige:)

It depends on the age of your boyfriend. More young people aren't getting married until their late 20's or early to mid 30's now. If you are in your teens that is quite young to get married in modern society. People today generally want to experience more of life before they settle down. Once you mention marriage to your boyfriend who is non committal then he may be afraid to come back into your life in case you bring up the subject again. Phone him and meet with him (face-to-face) and tell him you realize that marriage is out of the question at present and you'd still like to maintain your relationship. Don't mention marriage for awhile!
