There are only four ways you can get banned from a country generally. They are:
a) Do something illegal in that country (depending on what you did depends on how long)
b) Be suspected of promoting hatred or violence (such as rallies)
c) Be on a list of suspected or confirmed terrorist or spies or
d) Convicted of a crime and have not received a pardon.
You can get banned for other minor things but you cannot get banned for just being reported for something or your spouse is cheating on you and the person they are having an affair with is living in Another Country (that situation does not make the government or border security care one bit). If you threatened or did something mean to someone over the internet and they live in another country, even if they report it to their local police, the police can do very little because of jurisdiction issues (I hope you don't plan on doing anything like that). They can't even prevent you from entering a the country.
