Whether you two are meant to be or not is not easy to determine. Many people will give you different views and opinions.

It takes two to acknowledge each other. From your question I assume that you are willing and possibly still have feelings for him. Whether he still has feelings for you and how strong they are is something that needs to be answered.

How you get your boyfriend back rests a lot on what type of person he is, what happened between you two, what was the cause of the breakup, was it a friendly breakup, was he and were you influenced by others etc etc.

If he still has feelings for you, it's best to give him some time and space. Don't contact him all day, especially not when it's only a few days since the breakup.

If some time has passed you could check to see if he is still looking for contact with you. If he does, you should go to him and try to have fun together. Don't talk about the breakup too much, just focus on the fun. Flirt a bit with him and see how he responds. If he responds well, you could attempt to kiss him.
