You need to run these 6 essential steps to remove all the spyware on your computer.

1. Run Deckard's System Scanner (DSS)

2. Run the vundo and combo fix

Some thing to add on besides what i already suggested above:

1. Go to

HKEY_current_user\SOFTWARE\microsoft\internet explorer\Main

and follow the steps mentioned above..

1. Also go into

HKEY_current_user\SOFTWARE\microsoft\Windows\current version\URL\Prefix and ( Default URL) and change anything that resembles "c:\SPAD" or "myexexex.com" to blank.

Repeat the same Procedure at the locations HKEY_Local_machine\SOFTWARE\microsoft\Windows\current version\URL\Prefix and ( Default URL)

1. As a follow up , Download CWShredder and run it on ur computer. it is available at ashcws.notlong.com

1. locate the folder "spad" in the C: drive (or in any drive that contains that folder)

2. Delete the folder "SPAD"

3.Click on start -> run -> and type "regedit" without the Quotations.

4. Take a back up of the regustry file (by clicking on export)

5. Go onto HKEY_Local_machine\SOFTWARE\microsoft\Internet explorer\Main - then delete any thing on the right hand side which references to "c:\spad\start.htm"

The way I got rid of it is 1) using Hijackthis, 2) check mark and delete everything that has SPAD crap, C:\spad\start.html and www.myexexex. I think you lost your NOTEPAD.EXE too right? the way to retrieve it is as follows: to restore notepad. press run from start menu in the run window type sfc then press ok.when system file checker open type the file you lost notepad.exe and type where you restore from (win98 source location). and type where you want to save it chose c:\windons\system or if it does not work chose just c:\ now you will restore it. goodluck.
