First pop your trunk, then pull the mat around the back of the light and unhook the plugs. then undo the nuts and they shold come right out.
Same as above, pop trunk pull back mat. On the passenger side you can gently twist the socket and pull out of housing the running light can be changed without unscrewing and removing the housing but its a pain. The drivers side however is not as nice, you MUST unscrew and remove the housing BEFORE removing the socket ( brain fart on Chevy's part) You'll understand when you get your hands on it. Remember not to handle any bulb that you are planning to use since the natural oil on yer grubby little paw will shorten the life of the bulb. Also!!! Chevy did have a recall on these sockets, although after taking ours in We had more trouble than before. After much fiddling and quite a bit of cussing (mostly at Chevrolet's "Customer Service") I sussed out that it was a simple matter of bad contact, which I rectified by gently bowing out the contact wires on the lamp with my pocket knife. No problems since.
