Well, you can keep your aquarium clean by changing the water! Every week, take out about 25% of the water and replace it and by the 4th week of the month, preform an entire tank cleaning! To do this, you'll need: A separate bowl/tank, a fish net, water, water conditioner, a bucket, and paper towels. Get the net and gently scoop out the fish and put it in the spare bowl with clean water. Empty the water into the sink and take out the gravel. Rinse the gravel and decorations with clean, tap water. NEVER USE SOAP AS THIS CAN KILL YOUR FISH! Scrub the sides of the tank with a wet paper towel and dry the outside. Add the gravel back in and pour tap water into your bucket. *Make sure you know exactly how many gallons you are putting in!* Now, add in the water conditioner, following the directions on the box. Slowly pour in water to the tank and add in plants and decorations. Now, you can add the fish!
