There is no age limit on whether or not love is real. If you enjoy being with each other, he is on your mind all the time, you're able to settle arguments without fighting,you can't wait until the next time you're together then it's love. Just wait on the sex thing though, at least until you feel you can handle all the complications that come with it. Once you have sex, you can't go back to holding hands again.

Love isn't about heady emotions--it's about friendship and realism. Realism includes the awareness that you both may change your feelings/priorities and that you may grow apart. If you are still in love when you both turn 20 then you know your love was real. At 15 your judgment is more easily clouded than when you mature a bit more. The love most 15-year-olds may feel is usually more akin to infatuation. True love involves being able to endure the boring parts after the initial excitement wears off. If you ask a couple in a successful marriage who have been married for 20 years if they are more in love now than when they got married, the answer will almost always be yes (note that I said a successful marriage). The love two 15-year-olds can feel may be real - but it is almost certainly very immature compared to what they will be capable of in another 5 or 10 years.
