In order to be an effective scientist, a person must be patient. He or she will be doing experiments in the laboratory, or out in the field, and it takes time for the results to be known. For an experiment to be considered valid, it must be subjected to a process called "peer review" where experts in that area of science analyze the results and assess their validity. Results must be replicated under the same conditions, and the entire process must be conducted in a way that is rigorous: for example, notes must be taken to make sure the progress of the experiment is accurately recorded, and there must be step-by-step discussion (and explanation) of what was done to achieve the end result.
None of this is instantaneous. Even a great man like Einstein worked for long periods of time to prove his theories. When doing scientific research, it can take months or even years to finish a series of experiments; and sometimes the experiment is a failure and the scientist must begin all over again. Thus, to succeed as a scientist, patience is a crucial part of the work.
i do not know idiot
Patience. I know she is a little frustrating, but you need to deal with it. LIVE YOUR LIFE.
Patience, perseverance, and an inquiring mind are all necessary. Also, the ability to work in solitude for long periods of time is a plus. Integrity in experimentation is definitely a must.

They knew traits were inherited, but did not know why.

Becaue they learn to talk to another people because they was a scientist so they have to know
Patience, open-minded, curious, honest, genius, etc.. I hope I've help you.
The most important tool for any scientist is curiosity and the desire to know. Without this, the scientist is a mere lab technician. The second most important tool for any scientist is patience. The media love to portray scientists being struck by inspiration and having a eureka moment, but even the most inspired scientist has spent long hours in thought and research preparing her mind for that eureka flash of insight.
