Take the left front tire off. If you have a wire that plugs into the brake pad then you have the sensor. When the contacts (built into the pads) touch the rotor a light will illuminate on the instrument panel. The only problem is the sensor is only on one pad and they gererally don't wear evenly. The pads on the right may wear more than the left and may need replacing before the light comes on. There is no sensor on the rear pads and they typically wear out before the front. The only car I ever owned that wore out the rear before the front. In a way it is kind of useless. ejburton1@hotmail.com

Yes all 4 side has abs sensor but you got to go to a mechanic shop to diagnose and which abs sensor is not working
the brake sensor for the 2001 dodge stratus is located on the inside of the car under the brake paddle.

if im not wrong this is for the cruise control,which tells the computer to turn cc off when the clutch it's pressed. just like when you press the brake and the cruise c. goes off.
