Three months ago I applied for a home loan to purchase a double-wide mobile home with Wells Fargo for $40,000.00. All the extra paperwork that needed to be turned in to Mr. Rodney Giles was in his hands by November 23, 2013. I received a letter on November 26, 2012 a letter from the underwriting department with Wells Fargo they needed additional information. I gathered the information and along with my father took it and put it into Mr. Giles hands on November 28, 2013 and Mr. Giles assured my father and I that by November 30, 2013 I would have a per-approval letter in my hands. As of December 5, 2013 I still had no letter, so I called Mr. Giles and he was not in the office as he usually is not, I spoke with his supervisor and she called him on his cell phone and he stated he did not get the paperwork until 12/4/2012 and stated my credit score was not high enough. My credit score is 625, I don't have anything bad against my credit just don't have enough. This loan is for my first big purchase. I have owned and made payments on three vehicles which two have been paid in full and owe 12 more payments on the third one and it will be paid in full. Mr. Giles has been very misleading on our loan applications telling us we would have no trouble getting this loan and when we should have an answer. We r purchasing a used double-wide and the people r awaiting an answer. We don't want to lose this home due to Mr. Giles not doing his job correct. He also told us the credit score had gone up as of Nov. 1, 2012 but we had applied before that date so we should be good with my credit score. He has told us many untruths as well as to his own supervisor. We would like for you to look into this situation asap as we have people waiting on an answer and if we don't get one soon we will be forced to go elsewhere and start the process over, losing valuable time which we already have due to Mr. Giles incompetence and untruths. I ave had to miss work due to this and spend unnecessary monies on gas to travel back and forth to the bank which is 22 miles from my home.
