I know some people will put whole or cut up fresh lemons in their garbage disposal and then turn it on. They say that it leaves a fresh scent. I am not sure if this works or not because I don't have a garbage disposal. Try cleaning out your disposal with diluted bleach or vinegar (don't mix anything!). After it is thoroughly cleaned, place one of those little car air freshening trees in the bottom under the bag. Try to empty out the liquid from all containers before throwing them away to cut down on future odors. Answer Bicarbonate of soda could work. Even better would be to put your kitchen (vegetable) food scraps on the garden or into the compost or leave the meat and vegetable scraps out for the crows and other scavengers. It's all recycling. In return they'll plant those foods they enjoy in your garden, via their digestive systems. You'll be amazed at what comes up in fertile soil. No need for fertilizer, the birds provide that.
Bicarbonate of soda (bread soda) is great for absorbing smells. Sprinkle it into your bin every now and again or if you can one of the toilet scent things that hang on the rim of the toilet put bread soda in it and hang it over the rim of the bin so it is inside it.
Vinegar and baking soda left overnight. You can also chew up some lemons.
Dump baking soda into disposal to help with odor.
throw it away
A "Stinking Roger". Is any various plants having an unpleasant odor.
I pour about 1 cup of Bleach down the disposal before I go to bed & let it sit over night. Works for me.
When you dispose your materials they decay and rot causing an odor in your garbage. Glad to Help! :)
Yes, mildew can grow on food. Also food stuck in a garbage disposal can rot and produce an awful odor. You might try buying a lemon or lime, cutting it into quarters, and shoving each quarter separately down the running garbage disposal (don't forget to run the water). That might help with the smell. If it persists, I would contact a licensed plumber (make sure the plumber works on garbage disposals) to see if something is wrong with the system. To my understanding, mildew/mold can grow on anything.
Some common synonyms of stinking are fetid, fusty, malodorous, musty, noisome, putrid, and rank. While all these words mean "bad-smelling," stinking and fetid suggest the foul or disgusting. prisoners were held in stinking cells. the fetid odor of skunk cabbage.
nothing back then nobody was really bothered about people stinking and they berly ever got a bath
They wear nose plugs.
Yes there is an eco friendly way to eliminate odor. First of all, you need to wash the can on the inside with a good cleaner, then buy garbage bags that are strong enough so garbage does not leak through.
odor is a kind of stench ---- a stinking smell aroma is usually the beautiful smell from an edible item....... and fragrance is a great smell from flowers , or perfune or anything of that sort....
I don't know, maybe they smell like bananas because that's what they eat.
While it is taxonomically impossible, you would most likely obtain a stinging stinker, or a stinking stinger. You might also get a honey of an odor problem.
