on top of the harley oil pump there is a large plug that can be unscrewed with a large flat scew driver remove it and inside the first thing you will see is a long spring pull it out then under it there will be a steel ball with a small long magnet it also needs to come out once you've done this look inside the unpluged hole if there is no oil visable wait about five minutes and oil will slowly fill the empty cavity once this has happened replace the steel ball then the spring now replace screw and hand tighten. next remove the spark plugs from motor and hit the start button until you see the oil pressure light go out or if you have an oil pressure gage which is better to have watch it until it shows pressure once that happens replace the spark plugs and start the motor listen for any strange rattles or ticking sounds. If everything seems fine run motor until it is at operating temp. shut off and check oil level. add oil if needed.
