Dont worry about rest of alarm if you are having starter issues, just find the Purple wire (on GM veh. Other manufacturers are different colors) in the factory harness at the steering column and put it back together. This is the starter wire and is usually cut in two so a starter kill relay can be installed. Once you put this wire back together then the starter kill portion of the alarm is gone and the veh can be started without worring about alarm.
Now on the other hand alot of people will tell you its the alarm just because you have one. Chevy pickups are known for having bad starter. Have someone hold the key to the start position and tap the starter with hammer or tire tool or whatever is handy.
Although there have been some issues with Chapman. I believe it is built similar to Code-Alarm or is built by them. They use an internal relay for the starter kill and older ones have been known to stick and keep parking lights on. Banging on the brain of the alarm or removing power usually works to unstick relay. But I can guarantee it will happen again.
cant answer that for safety reasons
I have 1999 chevy Silverado z71 wanting to see if a 1994-95 chevy Silverado z71 bed will fit
Take a regular 4x4 Silverado, add skid plates, Bilstein shocks, and Z71 badging, and you have a Z71 Silverado.
One may purchase a Silverado Z71 from online car sales websites such as Pickles Auctions Australia . As well as this, one may visit their local truck or car dealer to see if one can purchase a Silverado Z71.
Z71 is the "off-road" suspension package. It adds jounce bumpers, larger shocks, and skid plates.
