It is really not that hard, get a 5 inch long corse screw put a thick washer on it,
then screw it inside the the broken shaft ..then yank out with a claw hammer
It should be located on the side of the block right above the oil pan (im guessing the passenger side)
As much as the dipstick tells you to.
Blow-by Engine showing signs of wear (rings) Try replacing PCV valve oil coming from dipstick ,means the engine is pressurizing .this is usually caused by a broken or stuck piston ring.this is a major repair
On a Ford E-150 , 5.0 liter / 302 cubic inch V8 engine : The engine oil dipstick will be on the drivers side of the engine ( it's in a tube that extends towards the front of the vehicle )
that my friend is the tube that goes from the exhaust manifold to the egr valve make...
Yes it will im running that combination now just gotta plug the dipstick tube hole if you use a rear sump pan and block off the fuel pump mount if you dont use a mechanical fuel pump.

On 289, the pointer was a round peg, with a rib on the top, which was a part of the cast aluminum cover. The 302 went to a separate sheet metal pointer. If you can't see the pointer, it is either broken off or you have a 302 cover on your 289; they are interchangeable.
The factors of 302 are 1, 2, 151, and 302.
