Jack the right front wheel off the ground and remove it.
Disconnect the battery
Remove both splash panels...one on the side of the fender well and one under the engine on the passenger side.
Remove the electrical harness connector
Recycle the freon.
Disconnect the freon lines.
Take the serpentine belt off.
Unbolt the compressor from the engine.
If you are putting on a new compressor you should replace the accumulator / dryer at the same time. Also, you should pump the system down to remove any moisture in the system.
If the belt's good, check the compressor clutch.
