you need to first remove the trim peice cover the part that covers the gear shift it's held in place with 4 clips use a flat screwdriver to pop it out ther will be three wires conected to it. next there is a rounded trim peice at the top of the radio it just pops out. now there is one screw at the top of the radio and two at the bottom of the climate control the radio and climate control are held togather with the same bracket once those screws are out the unit slides right out.
Begin by removing the decorative cover from your 2001 Pontiac Bonneville radio. Remove the radio retaining screws. Slide the radio out and remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable.

THEN REMOVE 5 SCREWS FROM THE INSRUMENT CANEL COVER, YOU WILL HAVE TO TILLT STEERING WILL DOWN, THE PULL THE TRIM FROM THE TOP THEN UP TO REMOVE. THEN LOOSEN THE TWO NUTS JUST UNDER THE RADIO AND THE SIDE, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PULL THE RADIO OUT FROM THERE

To remove the original cassette player from a 2001 Honda Civic loosen all of the mounting screws to the center console. Remove the screws and any clips. Pull of the center console to reach the bracket for the radio. Remove the mounting screws off of the bracket. Pull out and disconnect the radio.
