Remove and discard locking clips on studs if any Lubricate center hub with WD-40 or similar Hold one side of drum Rap sharply with hammer--most times this will loosen them to remove
remove the locking clips, have both sides of vehicle jacked up. start the engine and put in gear any gear this will allow you to let nature work. the drum will pass the ridges that prevent it from coming loose. DO NOT BEAT ON THE DRUM! this always works. also works on wheels that you cant get off. leave lugs on very loose and do the same thing
first you have to take the wheels off of the van,and then you have to take the tension off of the brake shoes. Next you will be able to remove the rear brake drums off of the vehicle.You may have to tap them with a hammer to break them free.

Remove the wheel and tap the drums at back with a 'deadblow' hammer, rotating the drum as you do this. The brake shoes tend to hold drums on.
