Very simply order the replacement panel from GMC dealer, LMC Trucks place on the appropriate side, with a marker trace along the outline, cut on the line. sand with 80 grit around the edge to get down to bare metal, place the new panel in making sure it is lined up properly and stays in place, then as it is sheet metal, tack weld in place, then spot weld around until solid.
