Remove the screws around the dash panel and remove the guage cluster. Be careful a lot of dashes have clips as well as screws. If it doesn't slide right out you are missing something. Once you have it out there will be little white retainers that hold in the lights. Usually a quarter of a turn is all that is needed to remove them. The bulb will come out with the retainer. Simply replace the burnt out bulb and put the retainer back into the guage cluster. Screw it all back together and you should be good to go.
Probably a fuse
Yes there the same.

There are two screws on the outside of the tail light assembly. Remove these two screws (keep them) and the assembly should be able to be removed from the truck. Carefully twist the socket out of the tail light assembly. Pull the old light bulb out of the socket and replace with new. Insert the tail light assembly into position in the truck bed and replace the two screws.
The 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck turn signal switch can be found below the dashboard. The switch will be on the drivers side. The turn signal switch should be labeled as such.
The 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck map sensor is located behind the dashboard, on the passenger side of the passenger compartment. The map sensor is contained in a dust free box.
I went to my local Ford dealer and was told it was $300 just to pull the dash. The bulbs would cost $15. Seems steep, but they were going to replace all of the bulbs. I only needed the gas gauge and the temp light replaced. I opted to keep a flashlight in the truck, so I could see the gauges when I was not under a street lamp. Or, I could check my gas level in the daylight!

Answerno the wiring harness in your 92 model truck will not fit correctly into the newer dash. to replace the dash you are going to have to change over the wiring harness, both doors, and the steering column.
