Here's exactly how to change the starter. First remove batter and black square case. this is for room to take it out. Then remove the three screws on the distribitor cap it's 7mm use a small 1/4 socket with an extension. Then use a 12mm socket or wrench to Disconnect the electric one just pops off. For example look at the new starter you bought. Then I removed the yellow bracket to gain access to the left bolt but if you have the right extension you should reach it. The problem removing the bracket it is very tight. you don't have to remove it. I just did so i could see the bolt and have more room, next remove both housing bolts and take the starter out you can removethe hose and bent it ou of the way I just pushed it out of the way there flexible hoses. now reinstall the new one and your done.
