Well, for starters, WikiAnswers Supervisors are the most trusted and experienced contributors on WikiAnswers. They are honest and mature, and they know whether a questio…n is appropriate or not. If you feel that a Supervisor is not doing his or her job correctly, or if they are abusing their Supervisor powers, contact another Supervisor and they'll take care of it for you.
Tell one of your supervisors who it was and say that they gave you an inappropriate response. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/WikiFAQs:The_WikiAnswers_Super_Team You can also cli…ck on the 'Report abuse' link (in red) above the question
Just talk to any Supervisor, and they'll take care of it for you.
We know "inappropriate" can be a bit subjective, so if you're wondering what Answers' standards are, we're here to explain! Remember - staying safe online should b…e your priority while surfing the 'net. By removing inappropriate content, we are doing our part in keeping our community safe! What is considered "inappropriate" subject matter on Answers? Any question that is asking for answers that contains any of the following: 1. Questions providing personal information (this is for your safety - both the question asker AND the answerer). 2. Items for sale or wanted to buy, using the website as an online market place. You may want to try eBay instead! 3. Questions designed to promote plagiarism, as in cut-and-paste. For example, directly copying a question from a Penn Foster exam. 4. Lists or examples of curse or swear words. 5. Questions of a sexual nature. We recognize that there are legitimate questions about this subject, but since this is an educational site that is allowed at many schools, we ask you to go to other legitimate places to find good answers to those questions. WebMD, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.gov), kidshealth.org/en/teens/sexual-health, and many other places offer accurate information. 6. Questions designed to be inflammatory, with little or no informational value. 7. Questions about how to join a gang or other criminal organization. We believe in peace! 8. Questions asking for usernames, passwords, or accounts on any internet community website. a) If you are asking about an online game, try asking for tips on how to get an item or how to get to the next level, instead of just asking for their item or account. b) In the case of email - to keep users safe, we don't allow questions asking for email addresses or passwords. We suggest you create your own email account with your own password. c) Finally, asking for passwords for servers and admin accounts on websites is considered an attempt at hacking, which is a federal offense. 9. Questions asking for master passwords to a computer. We have no way of knowing if the computer was stolen, you are trying to break into one, or if it is actually yours. 10. Questions pertaining to any illegal activity. 11. Questions pertaining to illegal drugs. If you believe the question you asked is appropriate please e-mail GoodQuestion @ WikiAnswers.com (no spaces) with the exact question you asked and why you believe it is acceptable.
Inapropriate answers are given by users who just want to mess up the site and ruin WikiAnswer's reputation. That is why Vandal Patrol and Supervisors are always on the look ou…t to eliminate these vandals, or "perpetrators". It's just because users think it is fun to write down inappropriate content, and Supervisors and Vandal Patrol Units are always on the look out. Since WikiAnswers is a wiki, where anyone can have imput, people think it is funny to mess up answers, when it is not.
Answer "Not aloud on Wiki" is a shortcut question. Please do not delete it from the list of alternates. Thank you. What is inappropriate on WikiAnswers … Asking for and giving answers that contain: * Unlawful or illegal information, like how to break into vehicles or for codes that are meant to be purchased, or how to get someone else's password. * Information that can be harmful, like how to make a bomb or how to kill someone. * Personal information about celebrities, including where they live, mailing addresses, etc. * Pornographic information, such as where to find naked photos or links to pornographic websites. * Personal information, such as someone's address, phone number, or email address. * Illegal activities, such as how to obtain illegal drugs. * Items for sale or wanted to buy, using the website as an online market. These are some examples. If you are in doubt if your question or answer is inappropriate, please ask a supervisor! Note to Supervisors: This is a catch-all question. Neither it nor its alternate wordings should be removed.
Here are some examples of inappropriate behavior on the site that will be not tolerated: Cursing and inappropriate language Making fun of a user on his/her message board Ina…ppropriate questions and answers Cyberbullying
Please keep in mind that WikiAnswers is a wiki Q&A, and as such, anyone can edit answers, questions, alternates, and whatnot (Guests can only answer questions/edit answers to …questions.). There are several reasons why people would write inappropriate answers, most of them being vandalism. However, Supers and non-Supers alike are working hard to warn and rid of vandals, as well to clean up the site.
To report inappropriate usernames, you have two alternate choices. One way is to click on the link below to go to the Community Forum in the 'Report Vandalism and Abuse' sec…tion. Create a new topic and that is where you can report inappropriate usernames on WikiAnswers. The other method is to just post a message on a Community Assistant's message board with the link to an inappropriately named user.
Because there are just random people giving random, but maybe accurate answers out there. Like me.
Only questions that are potentially harmful (e.g. contain a full name of a non-celebrity, telephone number etc.) or are very unlikely to be asked again (such a repeatedly usin…g SPAM words in the question title) are deleted. Questions that are inappropriate for the site but may be asked again are placed into a Catch-All Category. For more information on the Catch-All Categories, please see the Related Question below "What are the Catch-all categories on WikiAnswers?"

Coronation Street is a family TV show and it's always shown before the watershed (9:00pm) so they can't legally have inappropriate content in it. In recent years, there has be…en the occasional mild swear word and they often have some violence. However, none of the content gets any worse than this.
We don't want to show anything inappropriate. If you see something like that, please report it using the report abuse link.

Because wiki answers never gives you the "correct" answer. They dont "know" the answers and there option is to ask the people who "know" aor think they know the answer. Some o…ther people that are trying to look for help in wiki answers get the wrong answer because other people that write the answers they "think its right" that are really wrong. This is why you cant trust wiki answers. No it is not ! It's an excellent source of general knowledge IF people follow the rules. From my experience, the people who moan about this site are the ones who have broken our rules, and have been reprimanded. it has unreliable answers i dont know but these people are stupid, what do all yall think? Yes, a lot of people do come to the site and put in silly answers. However there are a lot of other users who get rid of these answers and put in correct ones.
