In order to reset the change oil light on a Town Car 2003, 04, or 05, first hit the mode button until you see the oil life displayed. When on that display, hold down the mode button for 5 seconds until it displays RESET FOR NEW OIL LIFE. Once that's displayed, hold down the reset button for 2 seconds, until it displays OIL LIFE 100%.
