Apple Says no I say, hell yeah if you want to boot of it you can download a patched disk (tiger is the best) but if you want to run it inside windows you could try to get a vmware image PS if you want to get the disk/vmware image Google is your friend
Apple's .dmg file format is used to deliver software or other files as a disk image. For a computer running Mac OS X you double click on the .dmg file and it will open and mount on the desktop as a disk. You can then either run the installer script or drag the contents from the mounted disk image onto the Mac's hard disc. Once you have finished with the contents of the disk image it can be ejected and deleted.
you might be able to if you run Mac's boot camp and have a windows OS disk with a code. so maybe.

If you want to copy them as in insert disk, then save it... theoretically you could save it as a disk image, then try to run that if it can read the disk, but this isn't necessary.
I just loaded Image Expert on my new Vista based computer by opening the disk to view the files then clicking on Setup. Image Expert seems to run fine! Just inserting the disk gave me an error message. Hope this helps someone because Image Expert is a great program!
The two file types are not interchangeable. A .exe file is an executable file that can be run on a computer running the Windows operating system. A .dmg is a disk image file used to deliver software in a secure and/or compressed format for Apple computers. With Mac OS X you can put an .exe file into a .dmg file by using Disk Utility (found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder) and clicking the New Image button.
Hi, you can try this one, iOrgSoft DVD Ripper for MAC , which is easy to use: 1. Install and run this program. Then insert DVD inside your DVD burner. 2. Place the DVD you want to copy into your DVD drive. Go to and click on the hard drive and select "Applications." From there, launch the disk utility. 3. Click on the name of your DVD that appears in the white pane on the left hand side in disk utility. 4. Choose "New Image" in the disk utility toolbar. From there a dialog box will appear. Name the new image and choose a destination where you want to save to save it. The best idea is to save it to your desktop because it will make it easier to find when it's time to burn the image.
