There are two common ways to say "I" in Korean:
(na) - informal
(cheo) - formal

They both use the TOPIC marker 는 (neun), and become나는 (naneun) and저는 (cheoneun).

Examples:

  • 저는 사과를 좋아합니다 (cheoneun sagwareul chohahamnida)- "I like apples." (formal)
  • 나는사과를 좋아해(naneun sagwareul chohahae)- "I like apples." (informal)
