To set up Google Voice Search in Google Chrome, click on the settings button (the button with three horizontal stripes in the top right hand corner of the screen). In the drop down menu that appears select the "Settings" tab. From there you should see a bunch of categories with preferences that you can change. Locate the "Search" category, it should be the fourth option from the top. In the Search category you should see a little check box that says "Enable "Ok Google" to start a voice search", check that box. Then close out of window, open a new tab and say "OK Google". If a little box comes up that says something like "Allow Google Chrome to use my Microphone" click "Allow" or "OK". Now you should be able to use Google voice search with your computer's microphone. If this doesn't work make sure your computer has a microphone. Also make sure that your current microphone is plugged in, turned on, enable, or is granted the proper permissions to operate with other programs by your computer or system administrator.
