On Macs running a recent version of the Mac OS you simply need to double click a ZIPped file to unZip it as the OS has built in support for Zip archives - to create a Zipped file Right click on it and select Compress "Your File's Name" from the menu. If you meet other types of file compression then the free StuffIt Expander will usually handle them. (See links below)

you can download winzip that is an .exe that can do that and you can also download winrar that also can open zip files
yes....however make sure that you download the version for mac and it should be a .zip file or a .dmg file. if it is .exe, then it is a windows file and wont work
