You have to use a computer with iTunes to update an iPod Touch. You cannot update an iPod Touch wirelessly.
I am another person from the person that wrote it above. i was just commenting...she's right you can't update is non-wirelessly. A lot of people think you can, but i never tried because i thought it would mess up my iPod so i just did it on the computer so yup bye bye C:
Connect your iPod touch to your computer. Go to iTunes and click on your iPod touch, then click Update.
You can't. joeis2cool4u wrote: --- you have to have a computer. there is no way it can work with out it. you also have to have itunes.
plugging the ipod to your computer and open itunes, it should prompt you about the update
You can update your iPod without selling it! First go to iTunes and plug in your iPod. Then go to your iPod summary and click "update".
You need to connect your touch to the computer, then open iTunes then select update. This will update your device.
When your iPod touch is connected to your computer iTunes should pick up whether there are any updates for your ipod.
Not without erasing the jailbreak.
About as long as a computer, maybe an hour.
You do not pay to update your iPod Touch unless the software update is to 3.0 or 3.1.
No it's free. go to iTunes and click Update when your iPod Touch is connected to the computer. *Make sure you sync it before you update.* If you don't, you will probably lose all the data on your iPod. I don't know about iPhones though...
