How do you win back your ex-girlfriend when she asked another guy to be her bf due to a fight but still considers you as her bf and is hoping that both of you will get back together someday?

Im just going to post a brief summary on it all. Me and my gf have been going out for a year and around 5 months and we have known each other 2 years prior to that. Last month, me and her broke up, apparently due to a fight and that some stuff kept piling on top of each other and she wasnt able to communicate them properly and yeah, she on impulse broke up with me.

After that, she met a guy that her ex introduced to her. Last week, she asked if he wanted to be her boyfriend. And the day after that, she called me, and told me that, and telling things, we started fighting again, and somehow, i just told her that im leaving her game over.

We met yesterday, and we talked and whatnot. And as summary to the meeting, the following came up. She was sorry for what she did and that she jumped to conclusions. She still thinks of me as her boyfriend, and feels jelous and sad when she heard that had started dating and meeting other girls. She also felt really sad when she thought i was leaving her. She also tried to put a ring on my wedding finger, but instead put it on my pinkie (cuz it coudnt fit), saying that its a well-get-back-together-someday-ring.

I gave her the other half of her gift, since it came in late (shipped from Japan). Along with the gift was a bracelet ive worn since 7 months ago when i went on vacation. She decides to wear it and called it, well-get-back-together-bracelet. Other than the "i still think your a boyfriend" part, she also gave a timeframe of when well probably get back together. Verbatim: "Maybe in a week, a month or 3 months".

So..what you guys think? Cuz now, im suddenly circling the hook again. Should i try and win her back slowly? Ive decided to not contact her for atleast 2 weeks and then talk to her again. I think that what broke you up the first time will come up again and you will not have a stable relationship. And, I think you know that. Move on with new people and do new things and don't go with her timeframe. If you are free when she decides to be "on again," then very carefully reconsider your position. Meanwhile, avoid contact. Time will make your outlook clearer.

Ok dude from what I see here she is using you for a fallback. My ex is doing the same thing at the moment. I say dont talk to her go to the mall tomorrow and meet a pretty girl. Or where ever. Just move on. Sorry man but if she loved you like deep deep down she would be with you no matter what man. I know it sucks but there is more woman out there. look at this way both you will move on but who will move on faster? once she relizes your better off without her she'll want you again woman are weird that way. That after she gets you in a matter of time this will happen again unless she changes.
