Simple genetics. Red hair is a recessive gene (one which both parents must carry) If the mothers hair is blond and the fathers is red, then both parties must have a red gene somewhere down the line. Also, children's hair color often changes as they grow older.
not totally sure, but based off of genetics...both of his parents would have to have a recessive gene for blonde hair, and he was that 25% chance that they would have a blonde haired child.
Yes, they can have a baby with blond hair if the mother has the gene that produces blonde hair (recessive) and also if the father has the same gene. It would be best if they both had blonde hair, but two people with brown hair can still have a blonde haired baby. It all depends on the genes that the parents received from their parents.

Your mother's husband is your father. His father-in-law is your mother's father, your grandfather. Your grandfather's son is your mother's brother, and your uncle. Your uncle's daughter is your first cousin.
She is the co-mother in law of you and your daughter's father in law is your co father in law. :-)
your aunty
A heterozygous mother can have a blond or dark-haired child, depending on the father.
One would refer to my grandfather's daughter and her husband as my mother and father, assuming he is my biological father and not a step-father.
