well in World War 1 ground warfare was all in the trenches. one group would be in one trench and another in theres. they would charge at each other across a field called the no mans land and try to take each others trench. as for the air we were limited to dog fights and very rarly bombings. now during ww2 warfare changed completely. there were still trenches but that was just for cover. we went back to a guerrilla like type of fighting. the Japanese were the ones who used it the most hiding in bushes. as for the air we had better airplanes and better weapons for those airplanes. instead of a single maned craft they had crews of 5-7 people. a pilot co pilot a navigator and the rest would shot machine guns attached.
