At the company I work with all the phones are hooked into the computer terminals and they run with a program on the terminal. Open it up and you get a listing of every employee and you just have to click a button to dial their number. Instead of having people take your calls a program can look for key words of your question and find the information you need much faster. By next year a person will not be able to tell if they are talking to a human or a program, unless the developer is asked to make the voices sound more robotic.
