Buddhism has no kasta/class difference. It teaches us that being good or bad OR evil is not because our social status nor life depends on what religion or teaching we believe in. because you are good because doing good and you are bad because doing bad.

Buddhism teaches universal love, to spread love, to have symphatic and emphatic to all creatures without exception.

in Buddhism, you never asked to believe in buddha, and buddha never force someone to believe him or in what he has taught. all is your choice, buddha teaches (and 'challenges') you to prove his teaching. (having wisdom)

Answer:

Buddhism has no god(s) or prophets. There is no hevenly intervention to save you from peril or reward you for good deeds. Your trip to enlightenment is up to you to make although Buddha and his teachings provide all the guideposts you'll need.

It depends on the religion, there are are several thousand to choose from. Buddhism has the following differences from the indicted religions:

  • Doesn't have salvation (Christianity)
  • Doesn't feel Haile Selassiei is god (Rastafarian)
  • Doesn't prohibit wearing clothes made of mixed fibers (Judaism)
  • Doesn't prohibit eating seeds (Jainism)
  • Has no Caste System (Hinduism)
  • Doesn't require death in battle to go to Valhalla (Norse religions)
  • Doesn't allow plural marriage (Islam)
  • Doesn't have a creation myth (most religions)
  • Allows blood transfusions (Jehovah's Witnesses)
  • Doesn't believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Pastafarianism)
  • Believes medicine and medical procedures work (Christian Science)
  • Isn't centered in Egypt (Coptic Christians)
  • Has a founder who was married and had a son (Christianity)
  • Doesn't have gods in every thing (Pantheists)
  • Doesn't demand human sacrifices (Aztec Religion)
  • Doesn't worship fire (Zoroastrianism)
  • Didn't build Stonehenge (ancient British religions)
  • etc.

First let me say that I'm not an expert nor have I studied Theology at any institution of higher learning.

Some people, myself included, consider Buddhism to be a philosophy rather than a religion. It's not easy to draw a clear line between the two and strong cases are made for both sides of this question.

Regardless of which side one might take on that question, the main difference that stands out is that buddhists do not worship any god(s) as part of practicing Buddhism. The Buddha is highly regarded as a teacher and as "the enlightened one" but not worshiped or deemed to be supernatural or a deity.

It depends on which religion you are talking about. Buddism is more of a belief system and does not worship a God.
