Why is Swine Flu worse in autumn?

It is not totally understood why there is a "flu season". It is clear that the flu spreads more and is more prevalent during the fall and winter, and it is assumed that is an environmental preference of the virus. Some studies suggest that it is the humidity and others that it is the temperature that the virus prefers in the colder months, and still others that it is the heat that the virus does not like and so it does not thrive or goes inactive when it is hot. The mechanism is not totally determined yet.
