Well about a few weeks or two. I had experince with a parakeet and she did'nt not like being at my house cause she did'nt get used to it. She got use to me about 2 weeks later so then that means she got used to the house. Oh and if you want him or she to mate with another parakeet make sure you cover the eggs. My parakeet always does that!. Anymore questions I'll be here
You have to start with a young bird. You can tell by looking at their heads. If the black stripes go all the way down to the beak, that is a young bird, and can be tamed. They will get used to you in only a few days if you are quiet and move slowly. Loud noise and sudden movements will always scare a bird.
Well with our parakeet it took him 5 yrs to get used to us and he still doesn't talk yet but he does meow and bark sometimes lol
it really depends on what type of parakeet you have and what environment they live in...they need to have a friendly and not mean mate too..
it takes 3 weeks
Perico is the Spanish word for Parakeet. Parakeet eggs start to hatch about 18 days after the female begins to incubate them.
a parakeet diet will change in only two weeks to be exact! and try not to change ther food so often.
