depends on the hardness and how its used - i have a HB with a thin hard lead that i have been using for laying out drawings that has been in use about 2 years now - and then i use solid 3/8 inch thick graphite 9B pencils that go in about a week
I just tested it with my 6th grade class. We drew a line for 1/8 of a mile and it used 1/8 of the pencil lead. This reasoning means that we would use 1 inch of a pencil for 1 mile. Thus, the average 7inch pencil can draw 7 miles of a line. This does not take into account any variables such as the thickness of the lead, the pressure of the writer on the pencil, and the imperfect line that was drawn. However, I think it is safe to say that the 35 miles myth seems a bit far-stretched.

In order to draw an elephant head you must use gray coloring. Also, you should make sure you do an outline for the large ears and long trunk.
Draw three vertical lines, then three vertical lines underneath, usually about 1cm long. Then join the line on the top left to the bottom middle line, then join the top middle line to the bottom right line. Join the top left line to the top right line so it looks like a triangle. Then do the same to the bottom lines. Then join the bottom left line to the top left line. Then join the bottom right line to the top right line.
Easy. Step one: Draw a long-enough straight line. Step two: Draw 3 lines on each half of it to form squares Done.
1. Determine which sort of spiral you wish to draw.- Clockwise or Anticlockwise. 2. Wind a long string around a pillar box /telegraph pole / lampost /etc in the appropriate sense 3. Tie your pencil to the end. 4. Apply paper underfoot. 5. Press pencil to paper and walk away allowing string to unwind while keeping it taut. 6. Repeat using longer string and wider/ narrower post as required.
The answer depends on a variety of variables, but the simplest is that barring further action on the pencil mark (rubbing, wear, etc), it will last as long as the paper.
The regular pencil can go 35 miles long if you keep sharpening it. But if you don't it depends how good of quality your pencil is!
One pencil can write 45,000 words, and can draw a line 35 miles long.
One site on the internet suggests that the average pencil could draw a line 35 miles long. If that is true, then 100 million pencils could draw a line 3.5 billion miles long.
-- With your pencil, place a dot at the x-intecept. -- Again using your pencil, place a dot at the y-intercept. -- Lay the pencil aside, and using your ruler, lay its straight edge such that the edge touches both dots. -- Now, while deftly stabilizing both the ruler and pencil simultaneously, carefully draw a straight line along the straight edge of the ruler. Draw it straight and draw it true. Draw it surely and draw it boldly, but draw it gently, lest thy pencil point fail, and snap, and you pass in an instant from the wizard to an object of derision and scorn. Draw it long or draw it short, the decision is none but yours. For a line hath no end, and if you draw it from dusk to an hundred dawns, and though you go where no one has gone before, and though you surely come to believe that an end is near, you but strive to touch the face of infinity. Yet you triumph even in your striving, for if your reach did not exceed your grasp, then for gosh sakes, what would a heaven be for ?
The average pencil, when brand new, is about 7 inches long, but pencils come in many different sizes. Pencils come in varying sizes; a typical size is about 20 centimeters.
By unit of length and distance and conversion ,we can say that we acn draw a line that is 12.5 centimeters long using a ruler .
Sure. _
the measure of a line depends on how long you draw it or how many people are in it
35 miles!
From the starting point, draw a horizontal line 17.3 inches long. From the end of that line, draw a vertical line 10 inches long. The line from the starting point to the end of the vertical line makes an angle of 30.03° with the horizontal line.
No lines are infinitely long.
take the rule and draw a line that is as long as you need it
