Edit; Where is the proof of how many died and how many were Christian. 800,000 Allied soldiers and civilians died fighting Germany. Many slain Chinese were Christian but there are few records. How many of the 27 million dead Soviet troops and civilians were Christian. Nothing but a wild guess? Like the Rabbi who went to the gas chamber declaring "there is no God," how many so called Christians revised their opinion in light of their experience?

Figures are not specific, but can be speculated upon.

While six million Jews were killed, at least another six million were also killed. Gypsies, Soviet prisoners, Jehovah's Witnesses, Trade Unionists, Catholics, Communists, Homosexuals and political agitators.

It is certain that many of that number were Christian to some degree, that being the dominant religion of all the areas. It is just as certain that some were not, but in the balance, most were probably Christian.

If six million non-Jews were killed, and one out of six were Christian (low estimate) then one milllion Christians were killed in the Holocaust. If all were, then six million were killed, maybe more. (Some estimates have an additional 10 million non-Jews killed.)

"Several million" might be the best answer. That can be said with reasonable certainty.

Of this figure three and a half million were Soviet POWs, none of them were Christian. So this speculation should be ajusted for that. But this is only speculation, it does not come from any form of evidence. In that line it is entirely possible that up to a million Christians were killed by the Nazis, but their deaths were not related to the Holocaust.
