The definition of an Olympic size swimming pool is 10 lanes each 2.5 meters wide, however to prevent the outside lanes being disadvantaged by having to compete with the waves …bouncing off the sides of the pool only the middle 8 lanes are ever used.
Answer This question is not easily answered because Olympic size only refers to the width and length, not depth. So variation in depth can greatly affect the ans…wer. I happened to do maintainance for a university olympic sized pool years ago. It was 3 ft or 1m at the shallow end an 12ft or 4m at the deep end. It came in at just under 1/2 million gallons.
4385964.912 pints Method: 50m length 25m width 2m depth 50x25x2=2,500 cubed (3) 1l= 0.001m cubed (3) so 2500x1000 = 2,500,00 L The volume of 1 pint is 0.4731764736 1 pint= 0.…57 L
There are five pools that meet all Olympic standards, being 50m by 25m, in Leeds, Sheffield, Cardiff, Glasgow and Sunderland. Four more are under construction in Bangor, Birmi…ngham, London and Plymouth. Therre are a number of other 50m pools, but they are not 2m wide.
I would say probably around 50-200 gallons.
There are 47 olympic size swimming pools in Australia. Alex the swimmer.
There are to many to count since a pool just has to be 50 meters in length and 2.5 m wide lanes
In a normal Olympic Pool there are 10 lanes. I'm not too sure what a semi Olympic pool is!
1 gallon (US/liquid)= 3.7854 L . Olympic pool is ~660 gallons. 660x3.7854=2,498.364. There are is about 2,500 liters of water in an olympic pool.
Since 1 gallon equals 90,840 drops and 1 Olympic sized swimming pool has 660,430 gallons, there are 59,993,461,200 drops in an Olympic size swimming pool.
If the pool is 50m by 25m and is 2m deep then it will have 2,500 kilolitres of water in it. It's volume would be 2,500 metres cubed:) 50m by 25m by 2m is the standard Olympic …swimming pool measurement:) hope that helps:)
Well, if you count the NSA (National Swimming Club), then 3,641,752.5 The "point 5" comes from the asteroid that destroyed that pool once...
