I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe, and it's capacity in the manual says 30 gallons (approx.), and 42 gallons(approx.) for a wagon model. My non-wagon model Tahoe actually gets about 33 gallons into it when I fill up.
A short bed has a 26 gallon tank. A long bed has a 34 gallon tank.
Everyone should have a manual, and the library should have a professional shop manual available for copies in the reference section...read up and fix 'em like the pro's...! :) Dave
