3 wires
Probably not because the Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco 2 were not very good by their motor.
yes
No there isn't. The Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco II have not sold very well and The Ford Motor Company is not interested on making a Ford Bronco III because of this situation.
If its the bronco XLT you'll have to take the tail gate paneling off the inside. The motor, gears, etc. for the rear window are located in there. I had the same problem with mine sometime back.
Absolutely
yes you may have to inter change a few things but they will fit
its located where the tranny bolts up to the motor. disconnect the three wires from the starter, then take the three bolts out of the starter and pull it out. just remember where the wires go!!
It is located in the rear tailgate. Remove the inner panel and the support bracket on the right hand side to see it.
To remove the window in the rear hatch of a 1989 Ford Bronco, the weather stripping around the window will have to be pulled back or pushed down slightly. This can be accomplished with a straight screwdriver or a putty knife.
Buy an aftermarket of OEM Ford manual.
You need to look on the Bronco Forums for this. I use: www.FullSizeBronco.com Here is a link I found on that site for replacing your window motor. It's a great write-up. It may be for a different year, but should be basically the same. You may only have to rebuild the motor instead of replacing it. I did all 3 of my 1990 Bronco window motors and it cost a fraction of replacing all the motors. http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42520&highlight=Torque+Pins
As far as I know there is no way to get the window down other than removing the motor itself. The motor is what holds the window up when closed. Make sure its the motor that has failed. There is also a switch located on the drivers side latch inside the gate that is designed to not allow the window to open when the gate is down. If that switch fails it the window motor will not function at all. I used a wire jumper to bypass the switch and solved my problem.
