How many worshippers does Hinduism have today?

I would like give a partial answer to this question. Hinduism is very vast culture. You cannot call it religion As it comprises several sects, cultures, etc in diferent groups. So as for the question is concerned I would say whom ever worship GOD is a hindu. Bcoz, Hinduism always tells about how can we reach the Almighty. It is an ultimate force and base for all the other forces. In that case everybody in this world or if taken the universe, from smaller to larger organisms are all hinduism.
So we can proudly say It is largest religion ever evolving and developing each and every day. There may be many religions such as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc, All share the same faith. Only that they all worship the Almighty in different forms.

So I conclude this by giving 2 line slokam

"Aakaa saath padhitham thoyam yadha kacchathi saagaram
Sarva dheva namash kara sri adi keshavam predi kacchathi"

Meaning

"Waters from all sources reaches the sea atlast.
Likewise which ever form you worship, Thus It goes to the Ultimate Force in the
Universe"
