Because a radiographer knows how to protect themselves from the harmful effects of radiation, by standing far from the beam and restricting the x-ray just to the area of interest, there is no set limit of how many x-rays can be taken in one day. Radiographers wear dosimeters which measure the level of radiation they are receiving on a regular basis, to ensure that they are not getting too high a dose of radiation.
