A flat, geometric plane produces no CO2.

However, most aircraft burn carbon based fuel, and the combustion of this fuel releases carbon dioxide. A small Piper Club will burn about ten gallons per hour, releasing close to 200 pounds of CO2.

A commercial 747 typically burns about 3600 gallons of fuel per hour, liberating 34 tons of CO2.

Does Carbon Dioxide come from planes?

obviously, if an EasyJet plane lifts of, it releases carbon dioxide from the engine, which gets released into the air, & that causes the earth to warm up, and then it will be the end of the world! NOTE: carbon dioxide is not produced by planes, so if it is the production of carbon dioxide, the answer is no, but it comes from fossil fuel, I think.

How do you contribute to carbon dioxide levels?

Any time you use electricity you contribute to carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, as most electricity is generated by burning fossil fuels. This also happens when you drive a vehicle, or fly in a plane.
