I love the first answer because it is so funny, so I am keeping it there while adding my own. It truly depends on the level of "posh" you want to go with. I just purchased these items and can give you a general idea of a midrange if you purchase these items from a store such as Wal-Mart, Target, etc.
Crib - anywhere from $150-350 depending on looks and features. Some come with whole bedroom sets (changing table, dresser) and some convert into toddler beds for later. You will also need to purchase the crib mattress (usually $40 or so) and sheets ($7 on average). If you go for a whole bedding set, they usually run around $60-120 depending on your style.
Stroller/Car seat combo - I bought mine as a combo and can really only tell you about that. The prices I see on those right now are anywhere from $120-240 again, depending on features and style.
Carriers - I assume you mean the ones that strap onto your body. These are $40 or so each and depend largely on size of baby and your preference.
Changing table - Unless purchased as part of a set, these can cost $100 to $200. Most parents purchase a pad and changing pad cover to go with their changing table (altogether around $30-50).
Diapers- These are killer! I suggest buying a couple of kinds before the baby is born if you are financially able. It's amazing how many of these things the little babies go through in one day. Diapers.com often has special deals and deliver right to your door.
A good alternative to buying everything new is to scout garage sales. You can get some great deals on baby items, including clothing! The only thing you should be careful about is checking crib recalls. This is easy to check on the internet.
Good luck and congratulations on your big news!
any where from 30 to 150 dollars

Crostel.com itself is a free web site. However if you want to be able to send stuff to your phone from it that depends on whether your carrier allows you to receive the type of file being sent for free or not. So if your carrier has a fee for certain types of files then those cost apply.

This depends on your carrier and plan. If you have no carrier, you may only make emergency calls.

While you cannot order free items for a baby shower, you can print out free invitations. You can also make shower favors and decorations, which will not cost anything as long as you have the supplies.
